POWERHOUSE

HIIT CARDIO-INFUSED REFORMER PILATES

Powerhouse is a cardio-inspired Reformer Pilates class. We combine high-intensity interval training (HIIT) both on and off the Reformer with dynamic Pilates moves to boost the heart rate, rattle the muscles and get those endorphins pumping.

Designed to challenge advanced cardio endurance, strength and stability – this class is the definition of Pilates with pace, so be ready to sweat!

NB: Clients are required to have attended Progressions classes for several weeks before attending Powerhouse and must be comfortable working at pace. Powerhouse is not suitable for clients with/and or recovering from injury or pre and post-natal clients.

How do I know if I’m ready for Powerhouse? 

Powerhouse is an intermediate-advanced level class and is not for the faint-hearted. If you can say yes to all five points below, it’s time to power up: 

  • You’ve been attending Progressions classes for a while 

  • You thrive on taking the most challenging spring options and layers in Progressions classes 

  • You have strong awareness on how to regress an exercise 

  • Your confident working at a fast pace for the duration of the class with minimal rest periods

  • You want to build some cardio into your Reformer routine!
