REFORMER PILATES FOR INTERMEDIATES

Confident with the Reformer machine, Pilates principles and the Sculpt style? It’s time to dial up the intensity with our Progressions class!

Our Progressions Reformer Pilates classes are designed to achieve ultimate muscle fatigue and challenge both balance and stability. These classes incorporate dynamic exercises, longer working sets and shorter rest periods to ensure you leave feeling challenged and oh-so satisfied! You’ll use equipment such as dumbbells, resistance bands and balls to complement the tension of the Reformer machine.

How do I know if I’m ready for Progressions?

If you can say yes to all five points below, it’s time to level up: 

  • You’ve been attending Principles classes for a while now and know your way around the Reformer

  • You’re comfortable with taking the more challenging spring options and layers in Principles classes

  • You have good awareness of when you need to regress an exercise to maintain form and alignment

  • You feel ready to work at a faster pace, with shorter rest periods

  • You’re wanting more challenge for your stability, balance and core work
